I thought I’d get this page up to explain my thoughts about twitter, particularly my policy around who I follow and who I don’t.
First of all I believe twitter is a conversation platform so I will follow people who follow me and give up on people who won’t follow me back. If I wanted to consume media which has marked barriers between creator and consumer I’d watch television.
Secondly, when people first following me, I will make an initial assessment of whether we are likely to be able to converse and either follow them or not. If this happens to you, but you think I’m wrong @ me and I’ll follow you straight away.
Lastly and most importantly, I won’t mind if one day you don’t want to follow me anymore, twitter isn’t important in the scheme of things, and I hope you feel the same.
Please note many of my twitters are inspired by quirky thoughts I have throughout the day, few of them are based identifiable events in the real world and most of them are lighthearted.
And finally, if what I say on twitter can be interpreted as either offensive, rude and narrow minded or funny, self depricating and sarcastic - I meant the latter.
